Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: May 2, 2026 · Version 2026-05-02
1. Driver parking sessions
Refundable: overcharges, duplicate charges, failed activations where you were billed but the session never started, and cases where the lot was unavailable or inaccessible at the time of payment. Email legal@parkgraph.com with your session code and we will refund within 5 business days, subject to verification.
Not refundable by default: change of mind, leaving early, choosing the wrong duration, parking in the wrong lot, ticketing or towing by the lot owner, or unverified disputes. Lot Owners may grant goodwill refunds at their discretion.
2. Disputed parking sessions
Most session disputes fall into one of two categories: a technical billing issue or a disagreement about the parking experience itself. Technical issues — duplicate charges, amounts that do not match the lot's posted rate, or payments captured for a session that never activated — are handled directly by Park Graph and resolved using our transaction record. Experience-related disputes, such as confusion about lot rules, the duration you selected, or whether a space was available, are evaluated against the information shown at the time of payment, including the lot Owner's posted rate and terms.
When you report a disputed session, we review the session code, the lot, the duration purchased, the amount paid, and the payment confirmation. Where the issue clearly stems from a billing error or an unavailable lot, we refund the eligible amount. Where the dispute concerns a judgment call about the Owner's lot, we may involve the Owner so they can review the situation and decide whether to grant a goodwill refund. We aim to be fair to both drivers and Owners and to keep every decision grounded in the actual record of the transaction.
3. Refunds and Owner payouts
Park Graph routes driver payments to the lot Owner, so a refund can affect an Owner's payout. If a session is refunded before the related funds have been paid out, the refunded amount is simply removed from the Owner's upcoming payout. If a refund or chargeback is processed after payout, the corresponding amount, along with any card-network or processing fees we incur, may be deducted from a future payout or otherwise recovered. Owners who grant goodwill refunds at their own discretion accept the associated reduction to their proceeds for that session. We keep these adjustments transparent so Owners can reconcile refunds against their session history.
4. Owner subscriptions
You can cancel any paid plan at any time from Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate the unused portion of a paid period unless we choose to as a courtesy. Free-plan accounts can be deleted any time.
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback we will respond with our transaction record (session code, lot, duration, paid amount, payment confirmation, and IP / user-agent metadata) and the lot Owner's posted rate at the time. Frivolous or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of card-network fees.
6. Sign orders
Printed signage is custom-fabricated to your lot details. It is refundable if it has not yet entered production. Once in production, it is non-refundable except for material defects or shipping loss, which we replace at no charge.
7. How to request a refund
Email legal@parkgraph.com with the session code, the date, and the reason. Drivers should request from the same address used to pay where possible. We typically respond within 2 business days and issue eligible refunds within 5 business days. The exact time a refund takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, which controls how quickly a returned amount is posted back to your statement. To help us review your request quickly, include any details that confirm what happened, such as the time you scanned the QR code, the lot name, and a short description of the issue. Once a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method; we cannot redirect it to a different card or account.
