Text support

AI text support that resolves common driver questions instantly

Drivers have questions about rates, session extensions, refunds, and directions. Park Graph provides 24/7 AI-powered chat support that knows your lot's specific details, policies, and pricing — and can take action on behalf of drivers like extending sessions and checking availability. Every answer is grounded in real-time data through structured tool calls — no hallucinated rates, no made-up rules.

Why we built it text-first

Drivers are already standing in your lot holding a device with a working keyboard. Chat is faster end-to-end (under 2 seconds), works in any language without dialect tuning, leaves a clean searchable audit trail, and runs at per-message cost rather than per-minute.

It also scales linearly — one Postgres connection can serve a thousand simultaneous text conversations, so a sudden post-event rush never gets a busy signal. The driver always lands on a working assistant in under two seconds.

Grounded AI text support flow: a driver question routes through the Claude-powered assistant, which calls real tools for nearby search, availability, current rates, and reservation holds before replying
Every answer is grounded in live data through structured tool calls — no hallucinated rates, no made-up rules.
QR payment flow that hands off to text support: a driver scans the lot QR code, pays in seconds, then texts the same number for instant answers about their session
Text support sits on the other side of the same QR code drivers already scan to pay — one number for payment and help.

AI support works alongside QR payments. When a driver scans your code and has a question, they get instant text help.

What the AI can do

The text assistant uses three real tools — search nearby parking, check lot availability, and get current rates — and one new one: place a reservation hold. That means it can not only answer “is there room?” but also turn that answer into a guaranteed space the driver can confirm with one tap. If your lot is full, it can suggest a nearby Park Graph lot instead so the driver still parks somewhere — turning a potentially frustrated “sorry, full” into a save.

Common questions the AI handles automatically: “What are the rates?” “Can I extend my session?” “Where is the nearest EV charger?” “Is there handicap parking available?” “What happens if I stay past my time?” Each response is accurate, instant, and personalized to your specific lot.

On Pro and Enterprise plans, every interaction is logged and searchable in your dashboard. Topic clustering identifies the most frequently asked categories so you can adjust signage, pricing, and policies to reduce support volume proactively. When a question falls outside what the AI can confidently answer, it escalates to a human with the full conversation attached — so nobody starts from scratch and no driver is left waiting.

Support escalation flow: AI resolves the large majority of routine driver questions instantly while edge cases escalate to a human with full context, and every conversation is logged and searchable
AI handles the routine volume; humans only see the edge cases — each arriving with full conversation context.
